City Commission unanimously approved a series of zoning and land development requests Monday night that will allow developers to exceed height restrictions in projects that would add to the .
The zoning and land development waivers do not grant final approval of any particular building design. Instead, developers were given permission to design buildings that exceed current zoning and land development limitations.
Representatives of The Related Companies, the New York-based development company that owns and manages (formerly Rosemary Square), asked for zoning and land development waivers that would lift the restriction on one proposed building from five stories to 25 stories and from five stories to eight stories on another.
