Florida Roundup: Transit In South Florida, Funding For Homeless Shelter Program In Miami

As of Friday, Uber is no longer in business in Broward County, after the company called the county's regulations "onerous" this month.

County commissioners drafted a lawsuit stating Uber has not complied with the state's background check and insurance regulations.

Miami-Dade's new transit director, she hopes Miami will move toward becoming "car-optional."

The City of Miami and the Homeless Trust is hoping to reach a deal Friday to fund a shelter program for the city's homeless.
